AlgmarginETH: early alerts on unusual trading in stocks, crypto and commodities

News hits a market twice. Big orders come in straight away, and the crowd follows an hour or so later. AlgmarginETH spots that opening wave, tells you what caused it and leaves you room to think.

Seeing a move sooner is no promise it will last. Crowds change their mind, so every card also names the event or price that would end the story.

How does AlgmarginETH work?

It tracks crypto, shares, commodities and indices day and night. When orders in one asset suddenly pile up, the radar puts it at the top of your board, usually while the news is still fresh. You see the trigger and the levels that matter. Most traders have not reacted yet, which leaves you a little time to think rather than chase.

Take an ordinary Tuesday. At 11:02 a chipmaker raises its revenue forecast. By 11:07 its shares change hands three times faster than normal, and the name tops your board with the reason next to it. The big news sites pick it up around noon, and by then a good part of the first jump has happened. Those fifty minutes are what you get: time to look at the chart, read the release and decide, calmly, whether to do anything at all.

How AlgmarginETH spots unusual activity early

A big move rarely starts with the price. First someone hears the news, then the orders come, and only after that does the chart turn steep. AlgmarginETH listens for those two steps. It compares every asset with its own last twenty days at the same hour, so a quiet coin waking up stands out as clearly as a giant stock doing double its usual business. Four readings go into that check.

Volume against its own average

Compared with what this asset usually trades by this hour. 3.0 means triple. It tends to change right after news.

Interest outside the market

News mentions, search requests, talk on forums. Attention tends to build before the orders arrive, sometimes hours earlier.

Price range

How far the quote has gone versus a normal session. Lots of turnover while the price barely moves? Often a big buyer or seller working in the background.

Spread across platforms

Is the rush on every exchange or on one venue only? A single platform lighting up is frequently one big client, not the start of a trend.

All four end up in one activity score, 0 to 100. Around 50 is a normal day. Past 80, or a threshold you pick, a notice reaches you with the reason attached.

Why volume moves before the price

Large money cannot hide. A fund that wants to buy a million shares has to place orders, and those orders show up as turnover long before the price has finished adjusting. That is why rising volume is one of the earliest clues a market gives away.

Compare two shares that both gained 4% by lunchtime. One did it on half its usual volume: few sellers were around, and the move can fade as easily as it came. The other did it on triple the volume: many people changed their minds at once, and such moves tend to last longer. The radar shows you which kind you are looking at while there is still time.

Volume also changes your costs. When the order book is busy, bid and ask sit close together and you pay roughly what you see on screen. When it is thin, the gap widens, and every entry and exit gets more expensive.

Early signs of a share spike

Results seasons · Third Friday · Surprise news

Plenty of share spikes are announced weeks ahead; you just have to look at the calendar. Earnings are the obvious case. US companies report in waves starting mid-January, mid-April, mid-July and mid-October, and European firms keep a similar rhythm. The radar knows those dates and watches the name before the numbers land, so the reaction reaches you almost at once.

Third Fridays matter too. In March, June, September and December, options and futures expire on that day and the big indices are rebalanced. Index funds then have to buy or sell at the close, whatever it costs. Smaller things pull in a crowd as well: a dividend date, a buyback, a product launch, an analyst cutting a popular name.

And then there are surprises. A lawsuit. A takeover bid. A chief executive gone overnight. No calendar has those, but the first orders after the headline still leave a trace. The news time and the turnover curve sit on one chart, so you can see whether buying began before the announcement or after it.

Early signs of a crypto spike

Open 24/7 · Listings & unlocks · Leverage

Crypto trades all day and night, and its triggers look different. A large exchange announces a listing. A token unlock is due to release new coins. A network upgrade goes live, a bridge gets hacked, or money pours into or out of crypto ETFs. Several of these are announced days ahead and stay on watch.

Wallets give another early clue. When large holders move coins onto exchanges, a sale may follow. Such transfers are noted next to the trading data, so you see the build-up and not only the drop.

Leverage makes crypto moves sharper. When many traders hold borrowed positions on the same side, a small dip forces them out and their forced orders push the quote further. It looks like a short, violent burst of orders, often at night for European users. Weekends need extra care: books are thin, and one wallet can make a small coin look like a sensation. The card says when most volume came from a single platform.

Gold, oil and gas: early signs in commodities

OPEC+ · Wed 16:30 CET · Gold & silver

Commodities react to the physical world, and much of it runs on a schedule. Oil gets busy around OPEC+ meetings and every Wednesday at 16:30 CET, when the US publishes its weekly crude inventories. Gas traders follow the weather forecasts and the Thursday storage report. These dates are marked ahead, and the first unusual orders around them get flagged.

Gold is where nervous money goes. A border conflict, a weaker dollar or a surprise from a central bank, and gold trading climbs. Silver usually follows with bigger swings.

Commodity shocks travel. Suppose crude jumps 5% before lunch: airline shares slip, oil producers rally, the Norwegian krone and the Canadian dollar move too. Each card lists such neighbours. You follow the chain while it is happening, not in tomorrow's paper.

Index moves and the economic calendar

14:30 CET data · Fed × 8 a year · ECB

The S&P 500 holds about five hundred companies, the DAX forty. Something that shakes all of them in the same minute is nearly always the economy, and the economy publishes its numbers on fixed dates.

US inflation figures come out monthly at 14:30 CET, and the jobs report arrives at the same time, usually on the first Friday. The Federal Reserve sets rates eight times a year, and the ECB follows a similar calendar. Those dates are marked for you in advance. When the number lands, index turnover can double almost at once, and Bitcoin is often pulled along.

Such moments are tagged as macro. When everything reacts to one figure, picking a single winner is close to guessing. Many experienced traders wait out the first hour, and the card reminds you that waiting is a decision too.

Trader watching index charts on several monitors

From raw data to an alert

  1. 1Collect

Prices, volumes and order flow arrive from exchanges and data providers, together with news, the economic calendar and large crypto wallet transfers.

  2. 2Compare with normal

Each instrument is measured against its own history at the same time of day. Monday morning is compared with other Monday mornings.

  3. 3Confirm

One reading alone is not enough. Volume has to rise together with at least one other reading, otherwise the jump is treated as noise and you are not disturbed.

  4. 4Explain

Next comes the search for a cause: a press release, a report date, a data release, a big transfer. Found nothing? The card says so. A spike with no visible reason is a warning on its own.

  5. 5Alert

What survives gets ranked by activity score and lands on your board. If it is on your watchlist or above your threshold, you also get a notice.

What changed

One plain sentence, for example: "Volume 3.8 times the usual level, price up 6% since the open."

The reason

What happened and at what time. Earnings, a data release, a listing, a lawsuit, or a rumour, later confirmed or denied.

Nearby levels where the market turned before, which hint at how much room is left.

Similar moments

How the same asset behaved after earlier spikes of this size. Sometimes the move carried on. Often it faded within two days.

What to watch next

The event or level that would end the story, such as a company call tomorrow or a close back below yesterday's high.

Norvane Robotics

NRVXSharesActivity 87/100

What changed
at 13:04 CET, four minutes after the company statement, NRVX pre-market volume was already six times the usual level for that hour, and the first alert went out. By 16:10 CET, forty minutes after the US open, the share had traded 3.8 times its normal volume and stood 9% above yesterday's close.
The reason
at 13:00 CET the company raised its yearly revenue forecast and announced a contract with a European carmaker. Search interest in the name tripled during the morning.
Price picture
the share is close to 48.20 USD, the level where it turned lower twice in spring. The last gap up, in February, was half closed within a week.
Similar moments
after the four previous spikes above 80, NRVX kept rising for two more days once and gave back most of the gain three times.
What to watch next
a daily close above 48.20 USD would mean buyers broke through the spring top. A close back under 44.00 USD, the price before the news, would mean the excitement is gone.

Two hours later the card updates: activity down to 71, price holding at 47.60 USD. You see the whole life of the spike on one screen, from the first alert to the moment the crowd starts to leave.

One trading day with AlgmarginETH

  1. 07:30

Coffee, phone. Overnight a coin reached the top of the board after an exchange in Asia announced a listing, with activity at 92. The card notes that most of it came from one platform. Worth a look, not worth a rush.

  2. 09:05

Europe has just opened. A German chemical company shows triple volume five minutes after a profit warning from a competitor. Two other firms from the same sector appear next to it before their quotes react.

  3. 14:25

Five minutes before US inflation data, the release is marked. At 14:30 the Nasdaq 100, gold and Bitcoin light up together, and the card tags it as a macro moment.

  4. 15:30

Wall Street opens, and the shares that reported in the morning take over the top of the list.

  5. 22:00

The US closes and stocks go quiet. Crypto keeps trading. You take one more look, set an alert for the coin from the morning and leave it until tomorrow.

Alerts and your watchlist in AlgmarginETH

The board shows the whole market. The watchlist is just yours. Put in the coins, shares, metals or indices you follow, and all their scores sit on one screen. A strange morning for one of them will not go unnoticed.

Alerts

Pick the trigger yourself. Maybe it is a score over 80, or volume at triple the norm, or a report due tomorrow. Once something on your list crosses that line, its card pops up in your dashboard.

Alerts for silence

Sometimes the warning sign is the opposite. An asset that was busy all week goes quiet, which can mean the crowd is leaving. You can get those too.

Where traders go wrong with breaking news

Reading the score but not the reason

A high number tells you something is going on. What exactly, the card explains. Skip it and you are trading noise.

Treating the first minute as the best minute

Right after a release, spreads blow out and quotes skip around. The alert gives you time, so use some of it: a few minutes of patience usually cost less than a rushed entry.

Betting too much on one hot idea

Fast markets go both ways. Settle beforehand how much a single trade may cost you, and keep the size small enough to sleep at night.

Ignoring the market hours

A share bought just before the US close can open far from where you left it. Crypto keeps moving while you sleep. Every card shows the hours for a reason.

Who AlgmarginETH is for

You trade online now and then, or want to start, and the hard part is noticing things in time. By the time a story is everywhere, the big move is usually over. You would rather get a short alert while it is still early and spend fifteen minutes deciding than an evening reading about what already happened.

A good fit

Maybe you hold a few shares and some crypto and want to know as soon as something unusual happens to them. Or you follow gold and oil and want to see which other assets react first. It works for both.

Not for you

Who should skip it? People who expect automatic trading or a promised monthly return. The same goes for anyone planning to trade with money they will need soon. AlgmarginETH gives you time and context. It does not take away the risk.

AlgmarginETH: frequently asked questions

How early does AlgmarginETH flag a spike?

As soon as volume and at least one other reading confirm it, which is often within minutes of the trigger. Scheduled events such as reports and data releases appear in advance.

Will the alert tell me where the price goes?

No. You see where attention and money are flowing now. That can flip before the market shuts.

Does AlgmarginETH trade for me?

No. It finds unusual activity and explains it. Every order is placed by you, at your broker.

Why the 250 USD deposit if sign-up is free?

The radar opens once your broker account is funded. The deposit stays yours, you are not obliged to trade with it, and it does not change what you see.

Which markets are covered?

Four groups: crypto, US and European stocks, commodities like gold, oil and gas, and the major stock indices. Small and illiquid names are left out, because a few trades there can look like a storm.

Can I lose money?

Yes. Shares can drop 20% after one report, and coins can fall even faster. Only trade with money whose loss you can accept.
